One of the best heavy metal instrumentals I've heard. Adding vocals is a downfall for these guys. Good compositions, structure & timing changes hold your attention. Energy with substance, & well executed.

I'm giving this album 2 stars not because it's bad, but because it doesn't come close to matching their previous 2 albums. The musicianship is still there, but it lacks the personality that intervals put on display in A Voice Within and In Time. I think the biggest difference is the loss of Anup Sastry as their drummer. Travis Orbin is a great drummer, but doesn't bring the groove and personality that Anup did. They all but abandoned the down tuned guitars on this album which I think was a huge mistake and is what made them unique before. If you're just getting into this band, you will most likely have a lot more fun listening to A Voice Within and In Time.
