This album truly is among the greatest of all time. But it's so much more impressive because even being at that caliber, it's elevated by the work that she put into it. She wrote it, she produced it, she conceptualized it, she played the instruments in it, the made videos for almost all of the tracks, she drew the art for it, she edited the videos herself, and at that, every single one of those things was extremely well done. This is the greatest artist of our time.

I love how Grimes changes her sound from album to album, and this album is a prime example: Grimes 4th album is a unique take on pop. While I don't love all the tracks, Art Angels has some absolute gems, including "Flesh Without Blood," "Realiti" and "Artangels." Other highlights include "California," "Belly of the Beat," "Butterfly," and the cool interludes such as "laughing and not being normal" and "Life in the Vivid Dream." Ultimately, Art Angels is a fascinating piece in Grimes' discography, that sounds nothing like its predecessor, Visions, nor it's follow-up, Miss Anthropocene.
