Her voice is still admirable but the uninformed gaslighting lyrics that have overtaken her prodigious voice are shameful.

As a longtime fan, this marks a dramatic change of pace from the many duets albums of late. It is also her most contemporary album since Guilty Pleasures. There is a good mix of new sounds as in Don’t Lie to Me, Walls and The Rain Will Fall that all are a very different feel with EDM and light dance floor beats. There are also some classics including What the World Needs Now and a stunning Take Care of This House. It is one of her best contemporary efforts in a longtime perhaps since Guilty where she sounded energized and relaxed in a new world: here there is a sadness and a tinge of anger that is not often heard on a Streisand record. She wanted to reflect the times and the artist definitely does.

The entire album is Barbra’s most passionate in many years. Great new songs and Barbra revisits a few classics with her inimitable voice and style. I’ve played this one again and again. The voice continues to thrill.

Barbra Streisand has put out some classic songs. She had a beautiful voice. But this album is dull. Not one good song in the lot. She spent so much time on her political message, which is fine, that she forgot to make good music. I can't wait for her next album. I'm sure it will be good. Just not this time.

Makes my heart sing with hope

Thank You Barbra, I have been a fan for many years and you are still my favorite. I just love this album, you are my hero. Your are still a leader in popular culture today. An artistic genious. Your music speaks to my Better Angels but it also touches a nerve. There is a message, beware of of some of our polititions, are they sincier, can you really trust them? Will they really manage our goverment responsably and look out for our Country's well being & safety. They say we can trust them because they are successful buisnessmen & women. They have all the answers. Recently Donald Trump got cought cheating and lying and whar did his official say? "We should just get over it, this is hoe deals are made. Wake up people, wake up & smell the coffee because it is boiling over and making quite a mess on the stove. They have lied to us and think we are really stupid. They abused their office & apparently we let them. Our country is experiencing a clash of cultures. Rich & poor, the haves and the have nots. Conservative & Liberal. God help us. This latest bunch of clowns running Washington right now should be traveling with a carnival selling hair tonic & weight loss products. They ar the "WHITE COLLAR MOB". They put on their best Sunday Suits and stick a bible under their arm to give us the impression that they are honest, Sunday Church going, Conservitive Christians who love the good word.Clever Con Artists who are going to make this country great agian. In the mean time they have fired & replaced all the real honest goverment workers and set up their own loyal lackies. Now they can procede with their real agenda, get all the power and money they can take. They are laughing at us. Donald Trump and his side kick Mike Pence allong with all his thugs like Bare, 3 Amego's, Rudy Julianie, Moscow Mitch all the Republican Party who have vowed loyality to Donald Trump, who seems to bow in loyality to the Russian Dictator Vladimier Putten. Trump's stupid waiste of time and money on a useless wall. A wall to keep harmless people who are loopking for help to escape hardship, like the refugees fleeing for their lives from horrable abuse & gangs overrunning their villages, unbearable living conditions. It is so hard to believe that we have actually voted to put this Monster in charge of our country. When I listen to this Album the lyrics speak to me, they make me aware of the elephant in the room. My heart aches, and I just want to want cry. I cant stand all this indifference. Democrat, Republican, Independant. What difference does it make when we are all just moving along goimg to work, planning dinner, going to school. just too buissy to care that that politition we elected & put in charge of the most important job in the world the white house is need to give comfort where there is suffering and try to be a leader and say something about shameful situation on the bourder. Thank You Barbara for inspiring me to care too. I love You for that. Walls is my new favorite Album, its so relevent. The muisic is beautiful and powerful. I really love this Album.
