Excellent album. It gets better with each listen. All This Music Must Fade, Beads On One String , Break The News and Rockin' With Rage are my favorites. I do not have any songs that I skip which is very unusual. If this is their last album thry should be very proud.
    • Different band: The Two

Hmmm, growing up I remember this killer ROCK band called The Who. They were LOUD and had this wild drummer, smashing guitarist, a twirling singer, and a rumbling bassist. I blew out my parents’ stereo with a song called “Young Man Blues” from the amazing album “Live At Leeds.” Power, volume, and excitement. Since 1978 that band is gone. No more Gibson Les Pauls and SGs. No more cranked Hiwatt amps. In their place came tinny Strats and a low distortion Fender amp. Boring songs. No rock. No power. No excitement. This new album is not rock and roll. It’s more of the same from a band that used to rock.
    • If this is how they go out...

...they should be proud of wrapping this up with this one. A really solid release, which some golden highlights!

What a great record. Pete, you did a fantastic job writing this record and Roger you do a fantastic job of singing it! I was not too fond of the previous Who release but I can't begin to praise this CD enough! So good to hear the Who as they are and have been. Stellar! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
    • I LOVE these first tree pre-release songs!!!

Taps into all of the elements that made "WHO'S NEXT" such an amazing record! Pete is crushing it and Roger Daltrey sounds as powerful and awesome as he did in the 1970's.

Real music by a real band I thought we’d never hear from again!!
    • Might be best album since "Who Are You"

Only heard three songs -- the first three -- but they are each solid and Townsend's famous for strong closers. Daltry's voice wavers, not unlike McCartney's these days, but listen to Pete step it up with rough boy guitar kicks and contrasting piano and string sonics. If the rest of the album is this solid, we're in for a great record.
    • Has to be better than 99% of todays music...

Looking forward to this release. Been a WHO fan since I heard LIVE AT LEEDS LP back in the early 70s. I was blessed to have had the opportunity to be there in time to experience the evolution of all the various genres of music from my generation. Thankfully, today and future generations can go back in time to enjoy it also.
    • Of course i want to like new Who

3 Singles, not bad, not great. Of course, with time they could get more popular. Love me some Who, right up there with, Stone, Kinks, Beatles. Worth checking out at least. Though I do feel Face Dances was there last great album
    • Awesome!!

Just listened to Ball And Chain it’s a great song ! Sounds like traditional Who! Hope the rest of the album sounds just as good ! It was very enjoyable seeing them at Jiffy Lube last May ! It was a great show !
