Without question, this is a masterpiece. This is how to sing a song, not the rubbish of so many of the so called singers of today. It's a good thing this is on CD because i would wear out an LP record.

This album is a masterpiece. Not a bad song in the bunch, but Misty and That's All take the cake. Both are priceless, with Misty defining perfection. Glenn Osser deserves equal billing as the arrangements compliment Johnny's voice brilliantly. Genius, gift, glorious. With a good wine and the right partner, listen carefully and you'll hear how they really figured out -- 50 years ago! -- exactly how this is best done.

A sock hop in the gym with "Heavenly" playing over the loudspeakers ... there is no better definition of high school romance at the end of the 50's. This album is an absolute classic for today's "60-somethings"; the music may seem tame to teenagers now, but they will never find more romantic "date music" no matter what the decade it is. Enjoy !!!
