In the beginning rap music told a story of the streets. E-40's music has and continues to live by that. He's among a very short list of greats that's been able to do so for so long. Don't believe me, do your homework. Artists that were featured on some of 40's tracks have come and gone while he still in the game. Like him or not you got to recognize the man for his longevity. Every artist got a lil E-40 in them; truth to the fact you gotta be original.
