No hooks, no meaning, a long wait, horrible production. Sounds like random noises, so long Ting Tings!

I've listened to the album a couple of times now and for true fans of WSN I think it's going to be a difficult listen as well. It was obviously professionally produced---and by that I mean over-bassed and over compressed. It is mostly a collection of beats and spoken word.
Where is the fire in Katie's vocals? They sound hollow. Where are the catchy hooks? Why so much percussion? Did Melody take a vacation along with Dynamics? And the first few songs set the listener up more for a night of relaxing on the couch than jumping-out-of-your-seats booty shaking.
Good, better with more listens

There are not the same catchy tunes and they are not as dance-friendly as their first album. That said, it's actually more interesting and varied, and the lyrics have more meaning this time around. I'm biased, having seen the show before listening to the recording, and I'll say both albums were much, much better live than recorded, with much more immediacy and energy than recorded. Do yourself a favor and listen with something other than a pair of earphones so you can get the heavy bass that the duo intended for this music, and you'll come away with a more favorable impression.
It's not going to be best album this year, but it's not the loss that several people have made it out to be.
I hate to say it but it has to be said...

Frankly speaking, I am not too keen on this album. I was kinda disappointed actually after such a long wait.
Better Than "We Started Nothing"

This is a great album. Yes, it almost sounds like a different band than their first album and many people may not like it but it is still better. Each and every song is distinct and memorable unlike their first album. The bonus tracks in the deluxe edition are OK but it would have been better if only one new, non-EP remix of Hang It Up were included (who wants to hear a remix of the same song every other track).
Yes!!

Ok kids. This is different from the first album. But it's really excellent! I am loving it! I can sing along and it puts me in a great mood! Perfect soundtrack for Spring! Cheers!

They picked up right were they left off. Great stuff hopefully the next album won't take as long.
