When I first heard this song, my friend who is a DJ in Tuscon/Phoenix was blasting it at 7am after a long night of roman debauchery and bacchic celebrations. At first I asked: "What the hell is he doing?" then I heard that voice....that one word....."Dah-Ling".....and I was in L O V E. He was introducing me to the entire trance/techno scene and this was the song that did it for me. If you are new or just learning about how far trance can take you, I suggest Mr Sam.....Deep Dish.....Lost Witness....and finally Tiesto.....

I loved the original version of "Innocente" on the Delerium album "Poem". It was mystical, cool, and a good listen. Then came along the remixes. Truthfully, they're not that bad, but it did not live up to my expectations or really make me say "Wow, that remix was amazing". 1. I'm not sure why DJ Tiesto's remixes are so popular and liked. The iTunes preview of the song reveals the best part of the song, but overall it's really boring house. His remix of "Silence" wasn't amazing either, and I'm still scratching my head as to why it's so famous. 2. It's good, I guess. Better than track 1. But at the end its more LOOOOOONG progressive house which overall doesn't lead anywhere. 3. A good trance mix I guess, but not what I was looking for. The vocals are very slow in this remix. Decent, though. 4. The best remix on the album. Sure, it's long, but it's actually a good progressive house song. The break which starts at the end of the preview is deep and amazing. If you're gonna buy a remix, buy this one. It's a bit boring at times, but the middle of the song is as close to a great remix of "Innocente" as you're gonna get. Sorry. OK so overall, Delerium really is in dire need of great remixes for this track. The remixes here are as a whole dissapointing, so I would suggest just sticking to the original. Haters of progressive house RUN AWAY. Lovers of progressive house try track #4.
