So what do you do when you start your career with a great album (Tanto Tempo), follow up with maybe the best album you will ever make (Bebel Gilberto 2004), and sort of lose your momentum (no pun intended, my opinion only)? After a few decent, not great albums (Momento, All For One), you take some time off, do some other projects, some movie voices, voiceover narration on a jazz album, ect. Then you come back with Tudo.
Is it as good as Tanto Tempo. I believe so. As good as 2004? I'm not sure that is possible, but time will tell. Her best efforts grow on you. I can say that Harvest Moon is superb. The duet with Seu Jorge is fine as well. Many other bright spots, and no slack tracks.
Is there another O Caminho, Cada Beijo, River Song, Simplesmente, Aganju? Hope so. Time will tell. Buy it. It's not good, it's great.
