I’m way more of a jazz guy than a southern rock/blues guy but I found myself turning up the Ford truck ad where snippets of “Anyhow” would play. When I first heard it I thought it a younger Bonnie Raitt on a tune I’d never heard before. Her amazingly clear, bell-like voice is truly thing of beauty with some great backup singers and instrumentals and the name “Trucks” was a name I recognized but couldn’t place. Turns out Trucks’ brother is a member of Widespread Panic (fan) and he was w the Allmon Brothers (fan) for a number years. This is an album well worth your time musically and lyrically. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
