    • Not enough Jerry Goldsmith but it’s ok

It’s a good soundtrack don’t get me wrong. It’s just that while listening to it especially while watching the movie I am just waiting for that moment when the Jerry Goldsmith themes come in… And those don’t come in enough. But when they do.... GOOSEBUMPS! Which is ironic because Brian Tyler does these new renditions of those themes that are just absolutely marvelous (especially on track 1 - the main theme), but then he cuts it short by intermingling the new Rambo 4 theme he composed and completely abuses it, making you almost forget that you just heard the old epic theme by Goldsmith - and therefore berry rarely closes a track with the classic themes. Sometimes it feels like he just “sticks them in the middle” out of obligation. Not really, I’m sure, it just feels that way because I miss those themes. But in general, it’s pretty good.
