Fragile

...boring. On top of the actual album just being plain boring, Nichole is part of a movement that calls God "our mother." This movement hijacks the actual Gospel that she pretends to sing about.

When she fills social media with the message politics will solve our problems and seldom mentions Christ her music is tainted sadly. Maybe someday she will realize preaching Christ alonewill change our hearts. Not talking poilitics then putting out a record every few years claiming this is what she really believes.

One of the best Christmas CDs I’ve purchased in years. Nichole has the gift of writing lyrics that reach your soul and a voice to swiftly and sweetly deliver them. Listening to this album leaves me with the same intimate feeling I get listening to her live. You can be in a stadium of people, yet feel like she’s singing to you alone. Her delivery of Christmas songs of years gone by feels fresh, yet nostalgic. I love this album!

Totally floored by this album...the songwriting, production and heart are just beyond. So thankful to have this stunning music as a soundtrack to my Christmas season. It’ll be on rotation for years to come.

If there is any project to be on your Christmas playlist this is the one! From start to finish the heart wrenching lyrics, gorgeous melodies, hauntingly beautiful vocals and instrumentation makes this project so special. As always Nichole provides a soundtrack for our soul as a reminder to ponder the fragility and humanity of the Christ Child which is in turn interwoven with our own stories. I’m so proud to have Fragile be apart of my Christmas music collection for many, many years to come!

When Nichole Nordeman releases any project, I usually anticipate being blown away. This is beyond being blown away. I am not a huge Christmas music fan. Very few artists show sincerity in their "Christmas" projects. It's always the same thing. Singing the same old songs with horrible arrangements and dripping with insincerity. Nichole Nordeman is one of my favorite artists because her voice is so amazingly pure and ethereal. I was nervous about this project. If it had corny arrangements and boring choices I was going to literally cry. The opening of this album silenced my fears. An original song blended with an old Christmas hymn was bold but also well produced and performed. Her voice is what sets this project above the boundaries of merely a classic album. She chose arrangements that were unusual. The instrumentations on every song are so perfect and well thought out. My personal favorite is the "broken" piano. The sounds in between each note she plays just hypnotize me. Her voice and the piano blend in perfect unison. Her song choices were well thought of. This isn't like any other album of the season. This stands out to be a recording that will stand the test of time. It is an example of excellence in production, vocals and music. Nichole Nordeman deserves every accolade for this record. I am awestruck, especially for this being a Christmas record, by it's beauty, power and excellence. Standing ovation for Fragile!!!!

Nichole has a way of weaving a story in such a beautiful way & this album is no different. While there are traditional songs, she puts her spin on it. From the arrangements to the original material that stands on its own or is woven within the classics, you have an album that will & should be a tradition going forward. I know for me it will be a tradition for me & my family for many years come.
