He isn’t good at writing lyrics or writing Melodie’s at least on this album i don’t like him I never did and he so annoying saying Taylor swift wrote “cheap” songs about him when he really said why you no love me and considers that to not be cheap music when any song written by Taylor swift about him is actually well written listen to dear John or would’ve could’ve should’ve or literally any of her songs they’re better than his also he groomed Taylor she was 19 and he was 32

Sob Rock sounds great! I also love the album art... very retro. I can't begin to say how many albums I bought with that "The Nice Price Sticker" on it. Takes me back! I love the vibe on all 4 of the songs so far. Can't wait to hear the rest of the CD. "New Light" is fabulous! After listening to the entire album it is without a doubt my favorite John Mayer album. It's soooo good and COOL! Takes me back to the late 70's and 80s. AWESOME!

I love that John is so talented that he can produce so many different styles of music. I find this album refreshing to listen to and love the guitar riffs he does in these more mellow tunes. I loved his blues trio as well. Thanks John for producing this great album!

Haters gonna hate but I LOVE this album. I love the softer side of John. These songs remind me of my favorites from Born and Raised and Paradise Valley. True artists can make a broad and diverse collection of music. They do not need to stay in any one lane. It’s what I love about him! I watched him perform live with Buddy Guy. It was awesome. So is this. I love the diversity of his music!

This album is great. There’s only so much blues you can play till it all starts sounding like the same song.

Please shift back towards your unique 2006-2013 sound. This album is not good and does not have your unique sound. “The Search for Everything” had some of your sound but seemed to start deviating. Please don’t continue down this pop route.

I am a BIG FAN of JM, but this is just terrible for a musician/songwriter of his talent. JM YOU CAN and WILL get back on track. I , for one, can’t wait. 👍

Some of the music videos from this album are so corny and at the same time hilarious - it makes a long time John Mayer fan fall in love with him all over again. This Album is such an easy listen. I find it really resonates with me and brings up so many tender feelings. It makes you wonder if true love really exists for some people or is it just a figment of the imagination. Rooting for JM to find the right one soon! Don’t listen to all of the haters out there.. I think it took guts to release an album like this especially in times like these. Cheers to believing true love really exists! Wishing I could see this live - in a mandate free world.

Excellent album...but it took me a few listens to 'get it'. With his remarkable talent, and for what he was going for here, it almost seems like he could have made this at home in just a few days. Very organic, and, yet, beautifully cliche too. I very much wish it was longer, though...a few more tracks, maybe, and/or longer guitar solos.
