A Very Darren Crissmas

Darren's voice is amazing in this album. I love his collaborations. This work took a lot of effort and all I have to say is JOB WELL DONE!!

Darren promised an introduction to new songs and a reintroduction to some we already knew and that’s exactly what he delivered, I loved the new arrangements and the quality of the vocals and the production, I just can’t get over it. What a wonderful collection of songs, I laughed, I cried, I got confused and above all I was completely amazed... this is, indeed, a very Darren album!!

Darren Criss is overrated.

It’s Darren, so if he’s putting something out, you know it’s going to be good. You know it’s going to have charm and heart and genuine musical value. So keeping that already excellent standard of quality in mind, believe me when I say that this album is his BEST WORK. The song choices and the gorgeous arrangements are so refreshing and so very Darren. The instruments and the sound production are incredible. The vocals are THE strongest and smoothest and most brilliant of Darren’s career. And not just his tone and technique, but his emotion and performance quality are remarkable. His versions of The Christmas Song and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas are so beautiful I almost can’t stand it. He obviously put so much love and effort and care (and money—the orchestrations!! Goodness gracious!) into this project, and it was tremendously worth it. This is music I will cherish forever.
