I think the production over the past ten years of so is simply horrible. Overblown, loud and unimaginative. I wis Ringo would go back and listen to the way he recorded in the early 70's/Richard Perry era. There was personality in that music. This music has zero subtitles. It's like constantly being hit over the head with banal anthems and no creativity. Ringo resurrected his solo career considerably with Mark Hudson at the helm. It wasn't great but it was decent. But nowadays this music is hard to get through even once.

Ringo’s style is so cool with some of his best ever songs. He has figured out how to mix the new with the classic and bring it back forward for a very enjoyable musical experience.

Ringo has done a nice job once again. There must be something about his voice or backup singing that sounds reminiscent Paul McCartney in the background (unless he is...)
Being no more Fab Four, I'll take whatever they choose to give us (and it's generally good enough).

Not this one. Every song is solid...esp the McCartney written "Feeling The Sunlight."
Amazing this 83 year old can still sound so good-- vocally, and his drumming!

A new catchy track from Ringo, nice melody and upbeat foot tapper. I like his EP's, you don't have to wait too long for new music from Mr Starr! A Hard Day's Night,Tomorrow Never Knows and now Rewind Forward, it has the feel of a hit just like AHDN and TNK. Thanks Ringo for another feel good song. Can't wait for the rest of Rewind Forward.

"Rewind Forward" is the title track of Ringo Starr's forthcoming 4-track EP of the same name coming in October. This energetic mid-tempo rocker is full of catchy hooks and playful lyrics. Sung with upbeat energy by Ringo, the song also features excellent guitar work and backup singing that sounds like, well, a lot like the famous fab boys from Liverpool (wink wink). Love the fact that Ringo keeps releasing NEW MUSIC and it is always quality material and production. Well done.
