Can you hear the voice and all the instruments, and the incredible growth Matt & Co achieved here? The bass on "Spirit and the Bride" particularly stands out and, to be fair, that song represents one of three anchors whose hooks make this an album satiating whatever your guilty pleasure, Van Morrison or Elton John or Of Monsters and Men, tracks two and seven being the others. The penultimate songs leading up to the climactic ending contain the only experimental tendencies apart from the Tom-Petty-recording-at-Pathe-Marconi atmosphere pervading the first eight songs, and they succeed on these terms. The meat of the album comes from those first eight, however, and anyone who has been through a tough time knows where "Spirit and the Bride" is at. It is at the sheep gate.
If I could give it a zillion stars I would!!!!

This is my favorite Matt Maher CD, I love every single song on it!!!! He is my absolutely favorite singer of all time, I've seen him live twice and I actually got to meet him the second time!!!!!!!!! He's just as an amazing person as he is a musician :)

I love this Matt Maher! I have the songs, "Rise Up", "Turn Around", and "Every Little Prison", and I LOVE them all! Not many people have listened to Every Little Prison (Deliver Me) but I think that this should be the most popular song in the album. LOVE IT!
