This is a remarkable CD. MacMillan has long been one of my favorites. His new work, "Miserere", which is dedicated to the Sixteen's director, Harry Christophers, is wonderful. I actually met MacMillan just 2 weeks ago. What an honor!! In the booklet, Christophers says that in his mind, MacMillan is one of the 3 great composers of sacred music in all of music history. The other 2 being Victoria and Poulenc. That is saying something. This disc shows his greatness. I cannot stop listening!!!!!!!
