This and Comedy Is Not Pretty are two of my favorite comedy albums of all time. I used to listen to this over and over as a kid. Genius.

Bought the album for the banjo/music. Included were two cuts of "comedy shows". Tried to listen to them but they were vulgar and not "funny". It is a shame that comedians like Martin think that they have to be vulgar to be funny. Obviously Martin's later comedy with Steep Canyon Rangers, etc., shows that he can be funny with out being vulgar. As far as the musical portion of the album is concerned, it is quite good. A couple of the cuts have been polished over the intervening years and are on his later album "The Crow". But the music is very enjoyable and what i bought the album for.
