Not sure how he conducts an orchestra while also playing so he gets praise for that alone. Found the music to be somehow both crisp and fluid and the details of the songs and instruments to be perfectly balanced. First classical album I have purchased in years and well worth it.

Joshua Bell has gotten tired of the violin and now has tried his hands at conducting. It's not a complete fail, but he'll need to do more practicing if he wants to give up his day gig. -Bz

Joshua Bell has done it again. Just the way Beethoven would have wanted it.

I admire Josh Bell's work very much and cannot wait to hear this new disc.
