iTunes Originals: Red Hot Chili Peppers

If this is a "partial album," then where can I find the rest of it?

what happened to the rest of it? there used to be a whole string of video interviews and talks with the band along with the songs, and those were really my favorite part of this collection. where did they go?

Unfortunatly it's a partial album but it's worth tha money to buy em individually, the chilis make great videos along with a great sound, get of the hiatus rhcp, we miss you

I try to give iTunes a lot of slack when they put up partial albums, assuming it's the record company's wish or the band's doing. With an iTunes original set, though, there's just no excuse. Why in God's name would you only put up some of the tracks? From other reviews, it looks like the full album was up at one point. What possible excuse is there for removing interviews?? I'm really disappointed in you, Apple.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, after nine studio albums and 26 years, still come out on top. From True Men Don't Kill Coyotes to Dani California, I find myself in a state of jaw-dropping amazement and addiction each time I hear a new song. The greatest thing about Red Hot Chili Peppers? There ARE no bad songs. You can keep expanding your knowledge of Red Hot Chili Peppers by listening to a song you haven't heard... and you WILL be amazed. Sure, maybe there are some that you don't fancy, but come on, be honest: None of their songs are BAD songs. They are all incredible, from the drum rhythm right down to the bassline, they're all crafted from the highest reach of genius, and though you might not like the sound of it, you have to give them credit, they are all incredible and well thought-out songs. They're not like some bands today that start out with some vocals, throw in some pointless, trashy effects, than a simple beat and guitar part with no solos, and call it a song. Anthony, John, Flea and Chad are sure that their songs will please before they put them onto a record. You can't judge which albums are better than others, because how do you compare their albums when every one has a different mood to it? Yeah, Freaky Styley sounds nothing like By the Way. By the Way is a spiritually uplifting album, and it represents how different they can be. Fight Like A Brave, compared to Don't Forget Me? You wouldn't know they were the same band if it wasn't for Anthony's totally unique vocals. And when you see them get up there on stage and start doing what they do best, it's amazing. You can feel the love emanating from them, because they truly are brothers that have bonded and enjoy what they do. Red Hot Chili Peppers have a truly interesting story and an amazing sound, not to mention their *charming* personalities. Yes, they are classified as Alternative. Want to know why? Because Anthony Kiedis, Michael Balzary, John Frusciante and Chad Smith have so much talent, they can take on ANYTHING.

This is am absolute must have!!! I didnt think it wold be that good at first but i got it and it is the best purchase I have ever made on iTunes!!!! I didn't get all of them though. I just got Dani California Cant Stop and Under the Bridge. I'm about to get Tell me Baby and get the rest when I get more money.

I am a HUGE Red Hot Chili Peppers Fan. I own all their cd's, dvd's, and have also been to two concerts. They are by far the best band alive. No one makes music like they do. This Album is amazing even if you arent a huge fan. Anthony, John, Chad, and Flea ( which isnt his real name but im not gonna go there ) they come together and you get to see the real RHCP the band that has been making music for a very long time and has not received the credit they deserve. This Album is just a great colaboration of amazing Itunes Originals and some old favorites, All in All a MUST BUY!

the world's greatest band and for those who dont have Slane Castle or Live at Hyde Park just go to youtube. Watch their woodstock '99 performance too. But a great set especially Under the Bridge. Hearing it live is the best.

I absolutely love these iTunes originals. They have such high playcounts on iTunes since I bought the first four summer of '07, it is ridiculous. They're good videos, but the BEST PART is that you can listen to them as audio-only as well on your iPod. You don't have the play the video to listen to these stellar tracks. The Under the Bridge, in particular, has to be my favorite recording of that song EVER. It is incredible. It is a MUST-HAVE for any Chili Pepper fan out there.

Just when you don't think it's possible, this band gets better & better. Something about these guys that makes you feel like a little kid. They make a 35 year old, father of 2, grab his bass, & just rock out, curse the day I stopped playing music, & look forward to the day my kids could jam along with me & the Chili Peppers. The sit down interviews are awesome, the live permformances prove how awesome they are, & the videos are a bonus. Well worth the money for any fan of the RHCP's, & if you're not a fan & take a look at this, you will rocking out soon enough. It will be a sad day in music, when these 4 call it a career.
