This is such a collection of great songs that a lot of people don't know of. Irene Cara puts it all on here. You can hear the talent she has. She should be huge today. But I'm glad I know of this album and hopefully you will give it a listen.
    • Love Irene!

If iTunes could somehow make Irene's last 80's album, "Carasmatic", available that would be great.

And then she disappeared, much to the chagrin of this writer and, undoubtedly, hundreds of others... She epitomized beauty, vulnerability, sexuality, progressive politics - the whole nine yards. Her career could have been bigger than Tina's, Madonna's - you name it. She was an Oscar-winner, a movie co-star with the likes of Clint Eastwood & I was enchantingly in love with the power of her words and her music...I had always wondered what had happened to her, then my heart SANK when I recently saw her on the CMT show "Gone Country." I was devastated, and have yet to recover... So - I guess I will chosse to continue to remember her at her best - which includes this album, and her next, "What a Feelin'"
